The August 8, 2017 meeting of the Central New York Car Club Association was called to order at 7:00 PM by Dennis Connor, President.

Dennis spoke about how the Nationals went. There were 8,100 cars there. Mike Szaraz won the Dick Spring Award. Also, Dennis met with Keith, Debbie Thomas, and Janet Warner, who run the campgrounds. It ran smooth this year. Campground registrations for next year should be as soon as possible, as they turned people away this year. You must be there on the night you reserved or your spot could be given away.  You must sleep in the vehicle registered for that site. Keep in mind you may need to change spots. This year there were 675 campers in 547 spots.

Dennis wanted to thank OPE Kawasaki for donating 5 4-wheelers for use at the Nationals.  If we had to rent them, it would have cost $2,700.  Also thanks to NAPA for their help and support for the repair shop.  They did an awesome job.

Aric spoke about the Association shirts.  They are available through Sports Outfit in Fairmount. See attached contact information. If anyone wants one, you can choose your own style and color of shirt. You would get a better deal if you order in quantity with your club members.

Jim Ennis spoke about The Ride for Regan – It will be either 10/22 or 10/28. When date is determined, we’ll let you know. If you have your car put away, you can drive your regular vehicle. They will meet at Destiny USA lot and take a short cruise (maybe to Green Lakes).

The MG Club has 3 10x20 heavy vinyl tents available for a reasonable donation to the club. If interested, Email Mike Mastracco at
