The May 11, 2021 meeting of the Central New York Car Club Association was called to order at 7:00 PM by Dennis Connor, President.

Dan from Sylvan Beach spoke regarding their 45th Annual Car Show in the park on Fatherís Day.  Contact him at 315-529-8641.  Their cruise night is Thursday night.

Rob spoke about the Nationals Ė he met with fair director. Only restriction is mask at all times and 75% capacity inside the building.   All buildings will be available.  No restrictions on spectators. We will not need proof of vaccination or neg test. There will be no celebrity, no program, or no tech seminars. Host hotel will be the same as always. Picnic is still on hold, may call it an ice cream social instead by having ice cream trucks show up and DJ.  Pinstripers will be back.  Awards will be the same.  Volunteer building will be the same, but cars need to be further apart.  Get volunteer lists in ASAP.  We got the golf carts for this year. Bands will be there. Fireworks Saturday night. Will have new vendors coming. Summit racing; Chevrolet Performance; HH Hot Rods, etc. Registrations are coming in. Call Right Coast for availability of dry camping spots.  Car years up to 1991.

Schedules are available.  Also check the website to see whether car shows are cancelled.  Mopar and Ford Club shows at Longbranch have been cancelled. County said they must follow state mandates.  Prison City and Cayuga BOCES is also cancelled. If you are interested in visiting nursing homes on Thursday, check the website.

The Association encourages all car club members to join the SEMA Action Network. Membership is free, and you will be kept informed on all upcoming legislation and how it impacts our hobby.

The 50/50 of $39 was won by Connie Oliver of the CNY Orphan Car Club.
