The May 9, 2017 meeting of the Central New York Car Club Association was called to order at 7:00 PM by Dennis Connor, President.

Tammy from the MS Resources of CNY spoke about their fundraiser to be held on August 12th called Cruisin for a Cause. It will be held at Kegs Canalside in Jordan. They are a local agency, and the money will stay local as well. There will be food trucks, a raffle, with a $10 donation for admission. It was agreed that they could use the Association logo.  See attached for more information.

Advance sale tickets for the Nationals will be sold online and at participating NAPA stores. OPE Kawasaki will be providing 3 utility vehicles for use.  They, along with the Right Coast. sponsor the hospitality room. There will be a 100 x 140 tent on the Midway to be an event center for some activities. Also, the celebrity guest this year will be Paul Teutul, Jr. from Orange County Choppers.  No more volunteers are needed for the Nationals.  Any problems with registrations for volunteers should be taken up with your volunteer department head.

Kevin Crandall – head person of Apex Magazine contacted Dennis. Their sales rep has quit.  If there are any businesses looking to put advertising in, call him at 315-280-8305.

OLR AACA is looking for volunteer judges for their show on June 4th. Please contact Jim Smith at 315-878-6188 if you are interested.

The 50/50 of $46 was won by Jim Ennis of the Syracuse Corvette Club.  He donated his winnings to the Ride for Regan charity.
