  OCTOBER NEWSLETTER

The October 10, 2017 meeting of the Central New York Car Club Association was called to order at 7:00 PM by Dennis Connor, President.

We were notified that a couple from the Volkswagen Club were involved in an accident. There is a Go Fund Me page set up to help with medical expenses. Click here to be directed to the page.  If you are interested in making a donation, check to make sure it is still active.

It is not too early to be thinking about paying your Car Club Association dues. See attached 2018 application.

Dennis talked about the Pineview Run Auto & Country Club.  They had a soft opening the weekend before the October meeting. Please note you should read your auto insurance policy regarding coverage on a racetrack.

The rumor about the Syracuse Nationals being sold is false.  Also, OPE Kawasaki went out of business, so we will need to find another provider of vehicles.

Club elections this year will be for the offices of Secretary and Vice President.  Terri and Sue were nominated again this year for office of Secretary, while Aric was nominated for the office of Vice President.  Voting will be at the November meeting.

Remember, there will be no meeting in December.  After November, the next meeting will be in January of 2018.

The Ride for Regan that has been mentioned in previous newsletters has been postponed until May of 2018.

The Association encourages all car club members to join the SEMA Action Network. Membership is free, and you will be kept informed on all upcoming legislation and how it impacts our hobby.
