The April 13, 2021 meeting of the Central New York Car Club Association was called to order at 7:00 PM by Dennis Connor, President.

Dennis spoke to the county parks about shows that would be held.  Still no okay for shows.  He will speak to Ryan McMahon to find out if they can have shows.

Ryan Beckley spoke about his OCC Automotive Technology group and gave an update about what they are doing. They are currently working on a 1967 Chevy 3100 pickup.  It should take about a year.  Their first car show/cruise will be June 5th to highlight the program.  Dinosaur Radio will be broadcasting live. Tom Gilbo will be there (Elvis impersonator).  Doors will open at 8:00. Show is limited to 250 cars.  There will be 2 parking spaces between each vehicle.  He will have more information at a later date.

Schedules will be available at the May meeting. Let us know as soon as possible if your show gets cancelled so we can update the schedule online.  Copies of the schedule can be downloaded from the website.

Part of the job of the Association is lobbing for everyone in the organization.  It is not just car shows.

Mike Edmunds spoke about ESM program.  They will try to get the car done this summer. He has tickets available, contact Mike at 315-569-2087.

Frequently, people call for cars for commercials or movies, or for photos, but they usually call at the last minute.   Dennis would like to create of list of cars he can call upon as needed.  Please complete the attached form if you are interested in being one of these vehicles.

Rob gave an update on the Nationals.  Please send your volunteer list to Rob. Also, we will need to find someone to take over for Dennis on the hospitality room.  This will be his last year doing it. Please let Dennis know as soon as possible so that you can work with him this year to see how it is done.

Mike Mastracco spoke about the various cruises that will be starting up in the area.  Check the website for more information.

The Lafayette Apple Fest grounds are available for car shows or cruises. Call them for more information in interested.

The Association encourages all car club members to join the SEMA Action Network. Membership is free, and you will be kept informed on all upcoming legislation and how it impacts our hobby.

The 50/50 of $57 was won by Diane Smith of the Oneida Lake Region AACA.
