 The August 12, 2025 meeting of the Central New York Car Club Association was called to order at 6:59 PM by Mike Mastracco, President. 

Mike has Association window stickers if anyone wants one. Discount cards for Advanced Auto are also available at the meeting.

Also, the CNY CCA is now on Facebook. And, we would like to get a list together of people who do work on old cars.  See attached info for Mikes Performance & Engineering in Elbridge. We also have numbers for Chris & Ernie Auto Repair in Cicero (315-288-5111), M & K Automotive – Brewerton (315-676-3840), Competition Radiators, Inc. 101 Sauter Rd., Central Square; Lonzy’s Radiator, Inc., 8110 Bridgeport-Kirkville Road, Kirkville; Johns Auto Care, 2045 Milton Ave, Solvay; KZ Automotive & Transmissions, Bridgeport; Ben Gregory, Cleveland; still looking for upholstery, engine, body work and general maintenance.  He is also looking for storage info for vehicles that he can share.

Regarding Syracuse Nationals: Sundays are still not good, need more participation on Sundays. New contract for the fairgrounds for the next 5 years to be signed. The building for the car clubs will not yet be available. Camping registration for 2026 opens October 1st. 

Cavalcade of Cars is being moved to the third weekend in April at the Expo Building.  Registration will open in October.

This year’s recipient of the Dick Spring Award was Mike Mastracco.  Congratulate him the next time you see him.

The Treasurer’s report was presented by Paula Stillwell and placed on file.

The Association encourages all car club members to join the SEMA Action Network. Membership is free, and you will be kept informed on all upcoming legislation and how it impacts our hobby.  See the latest issues of Driving Force by clicking here.

The 50/50 of $35 was won by Mark DeWolf of the Chrysler Owners Group Car Club.

The next car club meeting will be on September 9th.
