AUGUST NEWSLETTER

The August 11, 2026 meeting of the Central New York Car Club Association was called to order at 7:05 PM by Mike Mastracco, President.

There are Association window stickers if anyone wants one.  The CNY CCA is now on Facebook.

We are still looking for someone to take over the secretary position for the club.  The current secretaries would like to retire after 17 years. Please let Mike know if anyone is interested.

Car show schedules are available on Facebook and our website.

James Smith spoke about a new Cruise-In Event.  See attached flyer.

Brian Badger spoke about the Nationals. They had 4,600 vehicles registered online, with more registering at the fairgrounds. They had 70 plus vendors register from a couple of years ago, and they will go to SEMA to see if they can sign up some more.  They are looking for someone to head up the swap meet and car corral.  They will try to limit the amount of handwritten registrations (everyone should be able to register online).  The GTR racing simulator seat was raffled off and won by Don McNabb.

Upcoming shows: September 6 – Fillmore Auto Club, Fillmore Glen State Park, Moravia, NY;  September 13 – Mohican Model A Ford Club, Firemen’s Field, Wampsville, NY; September 20 – Seven Valley Street Rods, Dwyer Memorial Park, Little York, NY

The Treasurer’s report was presented by Paula Stillwell and placed on file.

The Association encourages all car club members to join the SEMA Action Network.

Membership is free, and you will be kept informed on all upcoming legislation and how it impacts our hobby.  See the latest issues of Driving Force by clicking here.

The 50/50 of $36 was won by Fred Lucas of the Oneida Lake Region AACA.

The next car club meeting will be on
