The November 14,
2023 meeting of the Central New York Car Club Association was called to
order at 7:00 PM by Mike Mastracco, President.
Don’t forget,
there will be NO meeting in December.
The next meeting will be January 9, 2024.
Nominations and
elections were held for the office of President and Treasurer of the
CCA. Nominated for President was Mike Mastracco, and Treasurer was Paula
Stillwell. Both were
unanimously re-elected.
The Norwich
Classic Car Museum is looking for 1980’s cars for next year’s display.
They would like photos, descriptions and contact info.

Jim Smith still
has a few 2024 Oneida Lake AACA calendars for sale with pictures of
local vehicles. Cost is $15. Contact Jim if interested. The Syracuse
Corvette Club held their annual “Checks to Charity” event on Thursday,
November 16, 2023, where they awarded $32,000 to 16 local charities
($2,000 each). Most of these
funds are as a result of their 30th Annual “Vettes at the
Beach” All Corvette Charity Car Show, held this past July in Sylvan
Beach, NY.
Patty & Jay Strait
of the Syracuse Nationals went to the SEMA show in Las Vegas and talked
to many vendors and found there was a lot of interest in returning to
the Nationals next year.

John & Louise Lounsbery, who lost everything in a house fire.
The dues for the CNY CCA are coming due.

The Treasurer’s report was presented by Paula
Stillwell and placed on file.
The Association encourages all car club members
to join the SEMA Action Network. Membership is free, and you will be
kept informed on all upcoming legislation and how it impacts our hobby.

The 50/50 of $38 was won by Joe Olmsted of the
Pontiac Club of CNY.
